6. Digestion Support
Apple cider vinegar is beneficial for digestion, especially for people who suffer from low stomach acidity. It helps balance the pH of the stomach, thus promoting better digestion. Additionally, as a natural prebiotic, it stimulates the growth of beneficial bacteria in the intestine, which improves the efficiency of the digestive system. To benefit from it, it is recommended to mix a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water and consume it about 20 minutes before meals. It is best to use unpasteurized apple cider vinegar to maximize its benefits.
7. Treatment of sore throat
Thanks to its antibacterial properties, apple cider vinegar is effective against the bacteria responsible for sore throat. To use it, mix a teaspoon of vinegar in a glass of water and gargle several times a day. To sweeten the flavor, you can add honey, lemon juice or green tea. However, it is important not to use pure apple cider vinegar to gargle, as it can irritate the throat.
8. Control cholesterol levels
Studies suggest that apple cider vinegar can help reduce cholesterol and triglyceride levels, thereby decreasing the risk of heart disease. A 12-week study showed that participants who consumed apple cider vinegar had higher levels of HDL cholesterol (the “good” cholesterol). Although these results are promising, more research is needed to confirm these effects in humans.
