In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips using a double boiler or by microwaving in 20-second intervals, stirring in between until fully melted.
Add Nuts and Fruit:
Once the chocolate is melted, add the mixed nuts and dried fruit (if using) to the bowl. Stir well to ensure all nuts and fruit are coated in chocolate.
Create Clusters:
Using a spoon, drop small clusters of the chocolate-nut mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Try to keep a rough cluster shape, and make them as large or small as you prefer.
Set:
Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over each cluster while the chocolate is still wet. This enhances the flavor.
Chill:
Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator or freezer to allow the clusters to set. This will take about 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Serve:
Once the chocolate has fully set, remove the clusters from the fridge or freezer. If needed, reshape them slightly. Serve and enjoy!
