Ingredients
5–6 fresh papaya leaves (medium-sized)
2 cups distilled water
1 tablespoon aloe vera gel (optional, for extra hydration)
5 drops rosemary essential oil (optional, for added scalp stimulation)
Instructions
Prep the Leaves: Wash the papaya leaves thoroughly to remove any dirt or residue.
Boil: In a medium saucepan, add the leaves to 2 cups of distilled water. Bring it to a boil, then lower the heat and let it simmer for 15–20 minutes.
Cool & Strain: Allow the mixture to cool completely. Strain out the leaves and collect the greenish liquid in a clean glass bottle.
Enrich (Optional): Add aloe vera gel and essential oil if desired. Shake well before each use.
Application: Pour the elixir directly onto your scalp and hair after shampooing. Massage it in gently and let it sit for 10–15 minutes before rinsing or leaving it in for extra nourishment.
Serving and Storage Tips
Storage: Store the elixir in a sealed glass bottle in the refrigerator. It remains fresh for up to 7 days.
Serving: Use 2–3 times a week for best results. A 1/4 cup per application is generally enough for medium-length hair.
