Tomatoes are excellent for your health, taste wonderful, and go with almost any dish. Having said that, tomato plants are notoriously finicky. Keep this one little but crucial piece of advice in mind if you want your tomato plants to thrive this season. Place an antacid pill in the hole you've dug for the tomato plant. Put the tomato plant on top, covering it just a little with dirt. The calcium in the pill will kill off any blossom end rot that may have been present.
