Introduction
Don't worry—there’s no real spider involved here. But one bite of these fiery, flavor-packed wings will definitely leave a lasting impression! Inspired by the bold kick of a venomous sting, these “Spider Bite Chicken Wings” deliver a smoky, spicy experience that lingers in the best way. Whether you're hosting a Halloween party, game day gathering, or just love a dish with serious attitude, this recipe is your new obsession.

Ingredients
For the wings:

2 lbs chicken wings, split and tips removed

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

For the Spider Bite Sauce:

1/2 cup hot sauce (Frank’s or similar)

2 tbsp honey

1 tbsp sriracha

1 tbsp soy sauce

2 tsp apple cider vinegar

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust for heat preference)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp butter

Instructions
Prep the Wings: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels, then toss them with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Place on a baking rack over a foil-lined tray.

Bake 'Em: Roast the wings for 40–45 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Make the Bite: While the wings bake, combine all sauce ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat. Simmer for 5–7 minutes, stirring frequently, until slightly thickened.

Toss to Coat: Once the wings are out of the oven, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the hot “Spider Bite” sauce over them. Toss until evenly coated.

Optional Grill Finish: Want an extra charred finish? Grill the sauced wings for 2–3 minutes per side to caramelize the sauce.
