Ingredients:
For the Chicken Tikka Marinade:
500g boneless chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
1/2 cup yogurt
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp cumin powder
Salt, to taste
1 tbsp vegetable oil
For the Pizza Base:
1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup sliced red onions
1/2 cup bell peppers, thinly sliced
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1 tbsp olive oil for drizzling
Instructions:
Prepare the Chicken Tikka:
In a bowl, mix together yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin powder, salt, and vegetable oil.
Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (preferably overnight for best results).
Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F) or heat a grill pan. Cook the marinated chicken for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until it's cooked through and slightly charred. Set aside to cool.
Prepare the Pizza Base:
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
Transfer the dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet and lightly drizzle with olive oil.
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the base, leaving a small border for the crust.
Assemble the Pizza:
Sprinkle a generous layer of mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
Evenly distribute the cooked chicken tikka pieces across the pizza.
Add sliced onions, bell peppers, and a sprinkle of chopped cilantro on top.
Bake the Pizza:
Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling and melted.
Once done, remove from the oven, drizzle with a little more olive oil, and garnish with additional fresh cilantro.
Serve and Enjoy:
