Introduction
If you're searching for a natural remedy to ease joint pain without relying heavily on over-the-counter medications, you might be surprised to find the answer in your spice cabinet. Bay leaves—often used to flavor soups and stews—have long been revered in traditional medicine for their anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. This simple, homemade bay leaf remedy can help support joint health and bring you soothing relief using ingredients you probably already have at home.

Ingredients
10–15 dried bay leaves (preferably organic)

2 cups of water

1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger (optional for added anti-inflammatory benefits)

1 teaspoon honey (optional for taste)

Juice of half a lemon (optional for vitamin C boost)

Directions
Rinse the Bay Leaves: Quickly rinse your bay leaves under cold water to remove any dust or debris.

Boil the Water: In a small pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.

Add Bay Leaves & Simmer: Add the bay leaves (and ginger if using) to the boiling water. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10–15 minutes.

Strain the Liquid: Remove from heat and strain the tea into a mug or glass jar.

Add Honey & Lemon: If desired, stir in honey and lemon juice for extra benefits and flavor.

Drink Warm: Sip slowly while the tea is still warm, once or twice a day for best results.

Serving and Storage Tips
Serving: Enjoy this bay leaf tea in the morning or evening, especially during periods of joint stiffness or discomfort.

Storage: Store any leftover tea in a sealed glass jar in the refrigerator. It will stay fresh for up to 2 days. Reheat gently before drinking.
