Blending powerful herbs known for their anti-inflammatory and diuretic properties, this homemade tea helps your body flush out excess fluid while promoting overall wellness.
Ingredients:
For one pot (4 cups) of herbal tea:
1 tsp dried dandelion root (natural diuretic)
1 tsp dried parsley (promotes kidney function)
1 tsp dried hibiscus petals (anti-inflammatory and rich in antioxidants)
½ tsp dried ginger (boosts circulation)
½ tsp fennel seeds (supports digestion and reduces water retention)
4 cups filtered water
Optional: 1 tsp raw honey or lemon slice for taste
Directions:
In a small pot, bring 4 cups of filtered water to a boil.
Add all the herbs (dandelion, parsley, hibiscus, ginger, and fennel) to the pot.
Reduce heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 10–12 minutes.
Remove from heat and let it steep for another 5 minutes for maximum potency.
Strain the tea using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy warm, optionally sweetened with honey or a splash of lemon.
Serving and Storage Tips:
Drink 1–2 cups daily, ideally in the morning and early afternoon.
Avoid drinking late at night to prevent waking up for bathroom trips.
Store any leftover tea in a glass jar in the fridge for up to 48 hours. Reheat gently before serving.
