Ingredients:
1 large head of broccoli, cut into bite-sized florets

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon soy sauce (low sodium if preferred)

1 teaspoon rice vinegar

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger (optional for extra zing)

1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional for a touch of sweetness)

1 tablespoon water (for steaming)

Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Directions:
Prep the Broccoli: Rinse and chop the broccoli into even-sized florets for uniform cooking.

Heat the Pan: In a large skillet or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.

Aromatics First: Add the minced garlic and ginger to the hot oil. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant but not browned.

Stir-Fry the Broccoli: Add the broccoli to the pan and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until it begins to brighten.

Steam for Tenderness: Add the tablespoon of water, cover the pan, and let the broccoli steam for another 2 minutes.

Add Flavor: Uncover and stir in soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey/maple syrup (if using), and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1–2 more minutes until well coated.

Finish with Sesame: Remove from heat and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving.

Serving and Storage Tips:
Serving: Serve hot as a side dish with rice, noodles, grilled meats, tofu, or in a Buddha bowl.

Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in a skillet or microwave to retain texture and flavor.
