Salt is used in cooking to flavor foods and dishes, but apparently it can also be useful for other purposes: try putting salt in the sink and you’ll see. In the meantime, I’ll explain why you should do it.

Salt has always been used to season food and make it more palatable, but it is also at the center of a famous superstition. In fact, you may have heard that if salt falls to the ground, it is definitely not the best omen, as it would bring bad luck.
We only need to think back to when, in ancient Roman times, soldiers were paid with salt (hence the term “salary”) to understand its importance and immense value. This is why you should never throw it away.
