Ingredients:
4-5 medium-sized fresh carrots
1/2 inch of fresh ginger (optional, for a zingy taste)
1/2 lemon (optional, for added zest and vitamin C)
1-2 teaspoons of honey or agave syrup (optional, for sweetness)
1 cup of water or coconut water (if desired for a thinner consistency)
Instructions:
Wash and peel the carrots thoroughly to remove any dirt or pesticides.
Cut the carrots into small chunks to ensure they blend easily.
If using ginger, peel and slice it into small pieces.
Place the carrots (and ginger) into a juicer. Alternatively, you can use a blender, adding a little water or coconut water to help with blending.
Juice or blend until smooth. If using a blender, strain the mixture through a fine sieve or cheesecloth to separate the pulp from the juice.
Add lemon juice for a tangy kick and honey or agave for a touch of sweetness.
Pour the juice into a glass, give it a stir, and enjoy!
