Introduction
Often overshadowed by the fruit itself, papaya leaves are gaining recognition for their potent health benefits. Rich in antioxidants, enzymes, and nutrients like papain and flavonoids, these vibrant green leaves have been used in traditional medicine for centuries to support immunity, digestion, and even platelet production. Today, we bring you a simple yet powerful recipe to unlock the healing potential of papaya leaves in your daily routine.

Ingredients:
5–6 fresh papaya leaves (organic, young leaves preferred)

4 cups of filtered water

1 tablespoon of honey or jaggery (optional, for taste)

½ teaspoon of freshly grated ginger (optional)

1 teaspoon of lemon juice (optional, for added vitamin C)

Directions:
Wash the papaya leaves thoroughly to remove dirt and any pesticide residue.

Chop the leaves into smaller pieces to release more juice.

In a saucepan, add the chopped leaves and filtered water.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 30–40 minutes until the water reduces by half.

Allow the decoction to cool slightly.

Strain the liquid into a glass container using a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth.

Stir in honey, ginger, or lemon juice if desired for flavor and added benefits.
