Introduction
In a world full of supplements and synthetic solutions, nature often holds the most powerful remedies. One such simple yet potent remedy is clove water, especially when consumed before bedtime. Revered in traditional medicine for centuries, cloves are tiny spice buds packed with big health benefits. When soaked and sipped as a nighttime tonic, clove water can transform your nightly routine and support your health naturally.
Ingredients
To prepare clove water, you’ll only need:
4 to 6 whole cloves
1 cup (240 ml) of filtered water
Optional:
1 teaspoon of honey (for taste)
A slice of lemon (for added vitamin C and flavor)
Directions
Soak the cloves: Place the cloves in a cup of water and let them steep overnight (6–8 hours).
Heat and strain (optional): In the morning or evening before consumption, gently heat the clove-infused water. Strain out the cloves before drinking.
Add extras (optional): Stir in honey or a squeeze of lemon if desired.
For best results, drink warm clove water 30 minutes before bedtime.
Serving and Storage Tips
Serving size: 1 cup per night is sufficient to harness the benefits.
Storage: If you prepare larger batches, store clove-infused water in a sealed glass jar in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat before consuming.
Tip: Use a thermos if you prefer drinking it warm without reheating.
