🌱 Introduction:
Garden pests like bedbugs can wreak havoc on your plants, flowers, and vegetables, causing stress and frustration for gardeners. While chemical pesticides may be effective, they can harm beneficial insects, pets, and even the environment. Fortunately, there’s a natural, safe, and highly effective solution that can send those unwanted bedbugs packing in just a few minutes. This DIY remedy uses everyday ingredients and is gentle on your garden while being tough on pests.

🧂 Ingredients:
To make your homemade bedbug eliminator spray, gather the following:

1 cup white vinegar

1 cup water

10 drops tea tree oil

5 drops peppermint oil

1 tablespoon baking soda

1 tablespoon liquid dish soap

Spray bottle (clean and empty)

🧪 Directions:
In a mixing bowl or measuring cup, combine the white vinegar and water.

Add the baking soda slowly (it may fizz), stirring to dissolve completely.

Mix in the dish soap.

Add the tea tree oil and peppermint oil, stirring gently to blend.

Pour the mixture into a clean spray bottle using a funnel if needed.

Shake well before each use.

Spray directly onto the soil, around the base of plants, and on leaves where bedbugs are spotted. Be sure to treat the undersides of leaves.

Note: Always test on a small area of a plant first to ensure no damage occurs.

🧊 Serving and Storage Tips:
Storage: Store the spray in a cool, dark place. Shake before each use as natural oils may separate.

Shelf Life: This solution is most effective within 7–10 days. After that, make a fresh batch.

Reapplication: For severe infestations, apply daily for up to 3 days, then reduce to once every 3–5 days as a preventative measure.
