Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup milk

1 large egg

2 tablespoons melted butter

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup mini pepperoni slices or chopped pepperoni

1/4 cup pizza sauce (plus extra for dipping)

1/4 cup diced bell peppers (optional)

1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)

Italian seasoning or dried oregano, to taste

Instructions:
Prepare the waffle batter: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, beat the egg, then add milk and melted butter. Combine wet ingredients with dry, stirring gently until smooth.

Preheat your waffle iron: Lightly grease with cooking spray or brush with butter to prevent sticking.

Assemble the pizza filling: In a small bowl, mix mozzarella, pepperoni, pizza sauce, and optional veggies. Sprinkle Italian seasoning or oregano for extra flavor.
