Introduction
Maintaining healthy blood vessels is vital for overall cardiovascular health. Over time, plaque buildup and toxins can accumulate in our arteries, reducing blood flow and increasing the risk of heart disease. Fortunately, nature provides powerful remedies to support vascular health — two of the most potent being lemon and garlic. This traditional mixture has been used in various cultures for its ability to promote circulation, reduce cholesterol, and support detoxification. Here’s how you can prepare this simple, effective natural tonic at home.
Ingredients:
4 organic lemons (preferably with thin skin)
4 large garlic bulbs (about 30–40 cloves)
2 liters of filtered water
Directions:
Prepare the Ingredients:
Wash the lemons thoroughly. If using non-organic lemons, scrub them well or soak in a vinegar-water solution to remove residues.
Peel the garlic cloves.
Cut the lemons into chunks, removing any seeds.
Blend the Mixture:
Add the lemon chunks and garlic cloves to a blender.
Pour in a small amount of the water and blend until the mixture is smooth.
Boil and Simmer:
Pour the blended mixture into a large pot.
Add the remaining water and bring it to a light boil.
Once it begins to boil, reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5–10 minutes.
Cool and Strain:
Allow the mixture to cool completely.
Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a glass container or bottle.
Serving and Storage Tips:
Dosage: Drink one small glass (around 50 ml) on an empty stomach daily, ideally in the morning.
Storage: Store the elixir in a sealed glass bottle in the refrigerator. It stays fresh for up to 2 weeks.
Note: Shake the bottle gently before each use to evenly distribute any settled contents.
