Once the pan has cooled, make sure to remove any remaining oil. Next, use a soft sponge to wash the pan.
You can repeat this process every 6 months, but if you use a dishwasher you may need to apply it every 4 months.
Coconut oil
Place the pan on the stove and heat it slightly. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 150 degrees.
Apply a little coconut oil to the inside surface of the pan, making sure to spread it evenly. The layer of oil should be approximately 2 centimeters. Place in the oven for at least 2 hours.
The heat of the oven will allow the oil to coat the entire surface of the pan. After two hours, turn off the oven and let the pan cool overnight, to allow the oil to dry.
Vinegar and bicarbonate
This remedy is one of the most effective. Pour 250 ml of water, 2 tablespoons of baking soda and 125 ml of white vinegar into the pan. Wait for the fizzing effect to end, then turn on the stove and simmer for 10 minutes.
Let cool, discard the liquid and dry the pan well. Then apply a vegetable oil while the pan is still warm.
