In recent decades, non-stick pans have enjoyed enormous popularity due to their practicality. This type of pans, almost always covered with an internal Teflon coating, have revolutionized the way we cook in our homes.As they are used and washed, these pans tend to lose their non-stick properties , in some cases even becoming dangerous to your health. If scratched, for example, they should be immediately discarded and replaced .Non-stick pans can be recovered and doing so isn’t even as difficult as it may seem. There are many different methods and each of them helps us make the pan look like new again.
How to recover a non-stick pan
The most common method is to use an oil to coat the surface layer of the pan.
Peanut oil
Before applying the method, make sure you have cleaned the pan well, to remove any stains or food residues. After cleaning and drying the pan thoroughly, apply a small layer of peanut oil to its surface, then place it on the stove for 60 to 90 seconds.
