Ingredients:
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ cup sugar (adjust to taste)
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup milk
½ cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips (optional)
1 cup fresh fruit (e.g., berries, apples, or bananas)
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (for glazing, optional)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Add the milk and stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
Gradually fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Mix until you achieve a smooth batter.
Gently fold in the chopped nuts or chocolate chips (if using) and the fresh fruit of your choice.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Once done, remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes. For an extra touch, drizzle with honey or maple syrup before serving.
