The marriage of these three distinct ingredients creates a texture-packed cake with the perfect balance of flavors. Whether you're serving it at a special gathering or enjoying it as an everyday dessert, this cake offers an exciting new twist on your typical sweet offerings.

Ingredients:

2 ripe bananas
1 ½ cups of crushed crackers (graham crackers or digestive biscuits work best)
1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
½ cup of unsalted butter, melted
½ cup of sugar (can use brown sugar for a richer flavor)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 large egg
½ cup of milk
½ tsp baking powder
A pinch of salt
Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8-inch round cake pan with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. If you prefer a bit of texture, leave some small chunks.

In a separate bowl, combine the crushed crackers, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Mix them well.

Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl or on the stovetop. Add the melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg to the mashed bananas. Whisk the mixture together until fully combined.

Gradually add the dry ingredients (cracker mixture) to the wet ingredients and stir to incorporate. Once well mixed, slowly pour in the milk and stir until you have a smooth batter.

Gently fold in the chocolate chips for a burst of chocolatey goodness throughout the batter.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread it evenly.

Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cooled, slice and serve. You can dust with powdered sugar or top with fresh banana slices and more chocolate chips for extra flair.
